Dead bodies of a boy and a girl found hanging from a neem tree, the girl had gone missing from Mumbai 20 days ago

Azamgarh: In the village of Batha Chak Batha of Gambhirpur police station area, sensation spread on Monday morning when the bodies of a boy and a girl were found hanging from a neem tree side by side with a single rope. The deceased youth has been identified as Ghanshyam Yadav, 26 years, son of late Rajaram, resident of Pandaha, police station Mehnagar and the girl has been identified as Nandini Yadav, 19 years, daughter of late Chhotelal, resident of Kothwa, Jaunpur. She lived in her maternal home in Pandaha village, police station Mehnagar, at Hubraj Yadav’s house. Both the lovers were in a love relationship for a long time. According to the girl’s mother, 1 year ago also the boy ran away with my daughter, after which I filed a complaint in police station Mehnagar, but later a compromise was reached between us, then in the month of June Ghanshyam ran away from Mumbai with my daughter and I did not know where he was living. Today morning, the bodies of both were found hanging from a tree at Batha Chak Batha in Gambhirpur police station area, some distance from the house. Villagers saw the bodies hanging from a tree at Batha Chak Batha in Gambhirpur police station area, on getting the information about the bodies, there was a stir in the area. On receiving the information, Gambhirpur police, Mehnagar Police CO Sadar, forensic team and SP City also reached the spot and started investigation. Police took both the bodies in their custody and sent them for postmortem.
