Jaunpur, Azamgarh and Hardoi lead the state in effective implementation of CYEKA

Azamgarh climbs to second position after intensive awareness and counseling drives

Lucknow, January 23: The Yogi government is continuously taking necessary steps towards making the state a one trillion dollar economy. Under this initiative, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is implementing various schemes to empower the youth of the state and provide them with self-employment opportunities. Among these schemes, the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign (CYEKA) has become the primary choice of the state’s youth. This can be gauged from the fact that in the current financial year, nearly 350,000 applications have been received across the state, while the Yogi government has set a target of distributing 150,000 loans in the financial year 2025-26. This clearly demonstrates that CM Yogi’s Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CYEKA) is attracting young people, and they are joining it to fulfill their dreams. Jaunpur has been ranked first in Uttar Pradesh for 100% benefit distribution for the past several months, while Azamgarh was in second place as of January 22nd, and Hardoi in third. On the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor Jaunpur, which has received the highest number of benefits under the CM Yuva Yojana, with a citation.

Nearly 350,000 youth applied

The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is not only focusing on providing employment to youth, but also empowering them to become strong entrepreneurs. As a result, the state’s youth are not only promoting their businesses but also bringing positive change to society. In this regard, the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign Scheme is proving to be a significant step in empowering the state’s youth and motivating them towards entrepreneurship. Under this scheme, against a target of 150,000 for the current financial year 2025-26, 334,337 youth from across the state have applied for loans, while 281,277 applications have been forwarded to banks. Of these, banks have approved loans for 106,772 applications, while loans for self-employment have been disbursed to 103,353 youth.

Loans distributed to 3,315 youth

Jaunpur has achieved first place in the entire state by disbursing 100% of the benefits of the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign Scheme to applicants. Jaunpur District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh stated that the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign is being launched to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth of the state. Block-level workshops are being organized in Azamgarh to provide benefits to youth under the scheme

Azamgarh District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar stated that under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a special campaign is being continuously launched to provide the benefits of the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign to as many youth as possible in the district. He stated that before April 25th, the district ranked 25th in providing benefits under the scheme. Since April, workshops have been held at the block level to ensure that all needy youth benefit from the scheme. During these sessions, face-to-face counseling is being conducted between bankers and applicants in the presence of senior officials. This is why Azamgarh has consistently held the second position in the state in providing benefits under the scheme for the past several months. The District Magistrate stated that as of January 22nd, Azamgarh has achieved second place in the state in providing benefits under the scheme. He stated that Azamgarh received a target of 2,500 applications in the current financial year, against which 7,315 applications were received.
