Rinhee Suberwal attends IFTCA meeting, says it’s important to be recognised as a choreographer in India.

Mumbai:Astrologer Rinhee Suberwal, who is also a choreographer as well as a past life regression therapist, vaastu consultant, numerologist and crystal healer, recently attended a meeting of the Indian Films and Television Choreographers Association, also known as IFTCA. She says that it was a great experience.

“This organization is dedicated to choreographers and assistant choreographers and has been running for many years.The office bearers including Jeet Singh (General Secretary), Arjun Gaikwad (President), Pramod Karade (Treasurer), Urvi Sheth Dhruv (Joint Secretary) and many others. Other great names who are associated with IFTCA are Ganesh Acharya, Remo D’Souza, Shaimak Devar, Sandip Soparkar, Vishnu Deva and I was introduced to this organization by Prabhu Anna, who then introduced me to Chhaya Ji, who then introduced me to Vishnu Deva. Vishnu Deva again connected me with Chhaya Ji, who completed all the formalities and helped me become a permanent member of IFTCA,” she says.

She adds, “I regularly attend the meetings, where we learn a lot about how choreographers should conduct themselves, the rules and regulations of the film industry, and how we can improve both personally and professionally. The focus is also on supporting the organization and helping it grow stronger and better for the future.”

She has been a member of IFTCA since 2014, she says, adding , “To be recognised as a choreographer in India and to get up the ladder in your profile is very important.”

Talking about meeting popular choreographer Ganesh Acharya, she says, “Ganesh Acharya is a very lively individual he motivated all the choreographers and the managing committee discussed issues of the industry and how to come out of it.”
