Sanjay Dutt’s ‘The Bhootnii’ Gets a Numerological Makeover by Harvard-Recognized Spiritual Leader Ayush Gupta

Mumbai:Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt’s film The Bhootnii has received a special makeover — not just in content, but in its title too. The film’s name was recently changed after a detailed numerology session with Ayush Gupta, a young and popular spiritual expert, known as the world’s youngest Reiki healer and a Harvard-recognized numerologist.

The film was earlier called Bhootni. But after speaking with Ayush, the team added “The” at the beginning and an extra “i” at the end — turning it into The Bhootnii. While the change may seem small, Ayush says it has a big impact when it comes to energy and success. “Adding ‘The’ made the title sound more powerful and complete and there is a lot more depth that we can’t share,” said Ayush. “

Interestingly, the number also fits well with the personal charts of the film’s director Siddhant Sachdev, producer Deepak Mukut, and Sanjay Dutt himself — creating a strong energetic connection for the whole team. The title change happened after long conversations with the director and producers. “They truly believe in the power of energies, and they wanted everything to align perfectly,” Ayush shared.

He also pointed out that while numerology can help, it works best when the film is already strong. “The Bhootnii is a fun and fresh horror-comedy,” he said. “With good content and the right energy, the film can really shine.”

Bollywood has a long history of using numerology — with actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, and Riteish Deshmukh changing the spellings of their names for better luck and success.

“Numerology isn’t superstition,” Ayush explained. “It’s based on vibrations and how names and numbers can affect energy. When everything is in sync, amazing things can happen.”

With a powerful new name and strong backing, The Bhootnii is now ready to entertain — and maybe even surprise — audiences everywhere.
